Thank You.

Thank you, thank you for making a very original game...no take that back. Thank you for making a piece of art.

The style you gracefully added to this piece shows very well. Phenomenal I should state in this case. The art, from each creature to the mystical giant, who I will not spoil anymore, is very professionally done.

This flash needs no backstory; it only takes away from the mysterious vibe that surrounds this work. But there shouldn't be a sequel, nor a prequel, as it would only take away from the greatness in this case.

As I started this review, I'll end it the same way. Thank you. 10 out of 10. Anyone who votes less should be arrested.

A Good Starter Project, but Needs More Work

Although I am not a big fan of the genre, to be honest, I decided to see how the game played due to it being near the top of the daily reviews at the time of this review.

When I first started the game, I was welcomed by an easy to learn interface and a beautifully drawn model, which must have been done by a professional or someone who knows what they are doing. But once everything soaked in, the flash started to dry up.

First, there are no sounds, nor music. While it is not the biggest problem, hearing nothing can drive some people away fast. Now while sounds are not all that needed in this kind of game, music may be a necessary. A game like this can also be a good platform for a few audio portal artists to donate to.

The bottom line, this game has good potential to shine, as long as more is added, such as music, sounds, backgrounds, and options. You have a great platform at the moment.

Thing-Thing III

First of all, the series has always been one of the better ones on the website in the last year or so and is always exciting to play. The first Thing-Thing had good atmosphere but not enough enemies, while the second one was the opposite. Now, when I first started to play this one, I found it rather difficult, with enemies firing everywhere at me and I felt like I wanted cover, which there was barely any. Which comes to my first complaint about the game, especially during the first level, which took place on a city street, there is not enough level in the game, especially for cover. My second complaint is also about the level construction. I observed many, many ladders in the game, which was not climbable, which forced me to have to jump, much like a plat former while enemies keep on firing at me.

My third complaint would be about the bosses. Being bosses, they should at least match the difficulty of the rest of the game, which I found out were not, and the level construction for the boss levels also were of poor quality, which created one of the reasons for why the boss fights were simple.

The sound of the game was alright for a shooter. The gun noises were created greatly, would not want them any better, but this greatness is meddled with music that is unneeded in the game, although the feature to turn it off was nice.

The game was addictive, however, which made me come back to it, flaws or not, to try to unlock every weapon. The addition of akimbo weapons was a nice idea, and should stay a good idea as long as you do not overdo it. Overall, the game was fun, and its 8 out of 10 was earned.
